Kelfos Foundation, Pune supported a meaningful community welfare initiative aimed at improving public convenience and infrastructure in Dharmapuri village. With a vision for holistic rural development, this initiative focused on providing accessible seating arrangements across key locations in the village.
Objective of the Initiative
The primary objective of this initiative was to improve public infrastructure by providing seating facilities in commonly used areas of the village. Many rural spaces lack basic amenities such as resting areas. This initiative aims to address that gap by ensuring that residents and visitors have access to comfortable seating in important public locations.
Implementation & Key Locations
This initiative was conceptualized by Grampanchayat members and supported by Kelfos Foundation. Seating benches were installed at multiple key locations across Dharmapuri, including: Near Dharmapuri Bridge (4 locations), Market Area (1 location), Near Maruti Temple (2 locations), Bhoiraj Tarun Mandal area (1 location),Laxmi Temple, Khandoba Temple, and Katkar Vasti.
