Kelfos Foundation, Pune organized a Bicycle Distribution Drive at New English School, Dharmapuri on 24th Feb 2026. The program was conducted with the generous support and guidance of its Founder President, Mr. Sandeep Ramesh Wagh. The initiative aimed to support girl students who travel long distances daily to attend school.
Objective of the Initiative
The primary goal of this initiative was to eliminate transportation challenges faced by rural and underprivileged girl students. Many girls walk several kilometers every day, which impacts their safety, attendance, and academic performance.Through this drive, Kelfos Foundation ensured that no girl is deprived of education due to lack of basic transportation facilities.
Program Highlights
Under this initiative, 12 bicycles were distributed to deserving girl students of New English School, Dharmapuri. The beneficiaries were carefully selected based on their academic dedication and genuine need.The distribution ceremony was conducted in the presence of school authorities, teachers, parents, and students, making it a meaningful and community-driven event.
